Franciacorta "Cuvée Lucrezia" is very elegant and complex; produced only during great vintages and put on the market after 10 years. It is proiduced from Pinot Noir and it is aged for 70 months on the lees. The boquet is ricched in notes of grilled bresd, candied citrus and herbs. The taste is creamy, rich, complex and structured

The Franciacorta “Lucrezia” is the emblem and pride of Castello Bonomi: an extra brut vintage sparkling wine made exclusively from Pinot Nero with great elegance, structure, and intensity, aged for almost 6 years on the lees and released 10 years after the harvest. It is the most awarded label of the winery, a great excellence of Franciacorta produced only in exceptional vintages.

The Pinot Nero grapes used to make the “Riserva Lucrezia” come from the oldest vines of Castello Bonomi, located at 275 meters above sea level on Monte Orfano, hand-harvested in small traditional crates. After meticulous selection of the bunches, the grapes undergo soft pressing and the must is partially transferred into steel containers and partially into small wooden barrels, where fermentation occurs followed by an 8-month resting period. Subsequently, the resulting wine is blended and bottled for the second fermentation in the bottle according to the Classic Method. The wine ages on the lees in the bottle for 70 months before the disgorgement. A final refinement of 12 months in the cellar after disgorgement, to allow the sparkling wine to stabilize and reach complete balance, completes the long and decade-long production process.

The Franciacorta Extra Brut “Riserva Lucrezia” stands out for elegance, intensity, and complexity: visually it presents a bright golden color, with coppery reflections and a very fine perlage; the nose perceives a rich yet delicate bouquet of toasted bread, pastries, orange blossom, candied citrus, apricot, candied ginger, chestnut honey, aromatic herbs, and dried fruit. The palate reveals a creamy texture, due to the very fine bubbles combined with complex and enveloping tones. A textbook balance on the palate: balanced sapidity, lively freshness, and sequential aromatic returns, of mathematical taste-olfactory coherence.
