The Fontalloro Magnum of Fattoria di Felsina is a Tuscan red wine barricaded with Sangiovese, an unmistakable territorial brand. Even in the opulent magnum format, the complex aromatic profile is designed from dark shades of blackberry, licorice and black pepper with light tobacco memories. The body is powerful and structured, with well integrated tannins and a finish with a pleasant aftertaste

The Fontalloro from the Fattoria di Felsina winery is a red wine of good structure and great elegance produced in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the province of Siena, in Tuscany. This label is made from pure Sangiovese grapes sourced from vineyards located in the upper part of Felsina, at altitudes between 330 and 400 meters, in the area that is part of the Chianti Colli Senesi denomination. The vines are south-west facing and are trained using the espalier method with spur pruning on soils characterized by different types, rockier with clay and limestone in the Chianti Classico area, while on the border with the Crete Senesi they are richer in sands, silt, small pebbles, and marine sediments. The winery is a family-run reality among the most important and respected in all of Tuscany, precisely for its history made of high ideals, a bond with tradition, and determination that has always driven the owners to produce wines of great expression.

The Fontalloro of Felsina is produced with carefully selected grapes that are hand-harvested at the time of their perfect ripeness. The bunches are then brought to the winery for gentle destemming and crushing, followed by alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with a maceration on the skins of about 16-20 days with automatic pump-overs and daily remontages. Subsequently, the wine undergoes racking with pressing of the skins, after which it remains aging in French oak barriques, new and first passage, for at least 18-22 months before proceeding to bottling and further maturation in the bottle for 8-12 months before being released for sale.their perfect ripeness. The Felsina Fontalloro presents itself with a deep ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe fruit, including cherry, currant, and blackberry, floral notes of violet, spicy hints of vanilla, pepper, licorice, and tobacco, finishing with a slight hint of wet earth. On the palate, it is rich, enveloping, structured, consistent, and smooth, characterized by good freshness, a fine tannic texture, and a finish of great persistence. This wine from the Felsina winery is a red of great refinement and complexity that enhances the magnificent territory from which it originates.
