"El Gat Ros" by Carolina Gatti is an atypical, unconventional and critical red wine, just like the winemaker who conceived and cultivated it. Produced from vines grown with the traditional "bellussera", a local breeding system in danger of extinction, this red stands out in the wine making area for its low alcohol content, lightness and rusticity. The nose offers notes of jam, red fruit and black pepper and on the palate is round and juicy with a beautiful energy

"El Gat Ros" is a vibrant and vital expression produced by Carolina Gatti, a charismatic woman of artisanal wine. A true volcano, Carolina, who following in the footsteps of a centuries-old family tradition, drawing on experiences in the cellar gained both abroad and in Italy, decided to support her brother Lino with passion and determination. 5 hectares that extend in the area around Ponte di Piave, a town located just over 20 kilometers from Treviso and Conegliano, populated by the most well-known local indigenous varieties such as Raboso and Glera, along with a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon, which expresses itself extraordinarily here. Few gestures, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, that do not involve any interventions with chemical or synthetic substances, so that the grapes and territory can speak for themselves. A must for lovers of direct, dynamic wines, true squeezes of vine or life!

The wine "El Gat Ros" is obtained from red grapes cultivated by Carolina around the area of Ponte di Piave. A return to origins, almost ancestral, also concerning the breeding method of the vines, namely the Bellussi, a local system on the verge of extinction. The vines rest on medium-textured clayey soils and are harvested manually with careful selection of the bunches. In the cellar, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and maceration on the skins for 15 days in cement tanks without temperature control are carried out.

The red el Gat Ros fills the glass with a lively and clear ruby hue. An extremely direct and satisfying nose, where hints of bramble berries, spicy notes, wet earth, and the countryside emerge in succession. A changing and intense bucolic picture that immediately invites tasting. The liquid, despite its contained alcohol content, fills the palate and dances energetically, enlivened by a constant salty and fresh contribution. Welter weight, with graceful movements.
