The Druid by the winemaker Andrea Tirelli is a red wine that maintains a clean and fruity aromatic profile of plums and marasca cherries, developing in addition notes of china and oriental spices. At the mouthfeel it is dry and full, with ripe and well balanced tannins.

“Druid” is the name of a red wine crafted by Andrea Tirelli, owner of the eponymous small winery located in the Colli Tortonesi, in Piemonte. It is born from a biodynamic approach, aimed at creating a product that in every phase of production, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, is characterized by the concept of sustainability. A bottle that encapsulates the essence of the territory, highlighting a pronounced aromatic profile on the nose and a dry sip, dominated by fully mature tannins.

The “Druid” originates from vines that grow using the guyot system, in parcels characterized by a clayey and calcareous subsoil, situated at an average height of about 250 meters above sea level. Among the rows, biodynamic working practices are followed. The must ferments spontaneously thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, macerating for a total of 15 days. The clarification is carried out naturally, by decantation. After aging, it is bottled and ready to debut on the market.

The red “Druid” crafted by the winery Andrea Tirelli presents itself in the glass with a typically ruby color, endowed with good concentration and characterized by some slight reflections tending more towards violet. Cherries and plums are the first to be sensed on the nose, outlining the contours of an aromatic profile that, from fruity, then moves towards more spicy and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, round, with a sip characterized by a full tannic structure, well blended into the overall context of the wine. A label that is born in light of the sustainable philosophy sought in every operation by Andrea Tirelli!
