The Cotes du Rhone "Rasteau Les Adrès" is a red wine produced in the Rhône Valley from typical varieties such as Grenache and small percentages of Carignan and Mourvedre. Aged for 10 months in concrete and to a lesser extent in used barriques, it exhales fruity sensations of cherry and raspberry on the nose, leading to a sip that is only seemingly simple, well-balanced, and highly drinkable.

The Cotes du Rhone Rouge “Rasteau Les Adrès” from the Domaine du Trapadis winery is a powerful, robust, and full-bodied red wine produced in Rasteau, in the southern Rhône Valley, France. This label is made from pure Grenache grapes sourced from vines around 20 years old, trained using the bush system on predominantly flat land characterized by soils rich in clay-limestone, with red clays, sandstone, sand, and silt. The training system adopted, combined with a low planting density, allows these vines to access the necessary water and protect the clusters from high solar radiation in an area often subjected to severe droughts and scorching summers. The winery is a small reality with a handcrafted spirit that manages its vineyards without using chemical fertilizers or synthetic products, following the principles of organic farming.

The “Rasteau Les Adrès” Cotes du Rhone is produced with hand-harvested and carefully selected grapes in September.selected in the month of September. The grapes, destemmed and gently crushed, are then subjected to alcoholic fermentation, using exclusively indigenous yeasts, in concrete vats at a controlled temperature of a maximum of 25°C. The must remains in contact with the skins for about 10-18 days, after which it is racked off and the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for about 10 months, before being bottled without filtration or clarification.

The Cotes du Rhone “Rasteau Les Adrès” presents a bright ruby red color, with complex and intense aromas of ripe fruit on the nose, including cherry and plum, vegetal notes and aromatic herbs, followed by hints of undergrowth, wet earth and a slight hint of truffle. On the palate, it is rich, smooth and characterized by a clean, lively and vibrant sip that, supported by great freshness, is optimally balanced with the alcohol content. This label is an authentic expression of the southern Rhone area, rustic, straightforward and produced with artisanal methods that reflect tradition.
