Champagne Rosé Brut Magnum Deutz
Champagne Rosé by Deutz derives from Pinot Noir grapes from old vines and ages for 36 months on yeasts. Refined notes of small red fruits and brioche emerge from a fresh, lively and mineral profile, very balanced
The Champagne Rosé Brut from the Deutz house is the noble portrait of Pinot Nero. It embodies the austere character and outlines the profiles of finesse and elegance, maintaining the distinctive traits of delicacy and pleasantness. A Pinot Nero that some critics have defined as "applause-worthy" for its expressive richness. It comes from a blend of grapes from different areas, capable of perfectly narrating not only the identity of a grape variety but also the essence of a territory rich in charm like that of Champagne. The house has had roots in the municipality of Ay since 1838. Today, the property includes the participation of the Louis Roederer house and covers 42 hectares.
Deutz Champagne Rosé Brut is made from 100% Pinot Nero, sourced from the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne. The production method is that of Assemblage, permitted by the regulations, which involves the addition of still red wine to create the Champagne Rosé. Deutz produces this sparkling wine by incorporating a portion of still Pinot Nero produced from from very old vines in the Ay area. The period of refermentation in the bottle and subsequent aging on the lees lasts about 36 months.
The Deutz Brut Rosé is a Champagne with a delicate and bright pink color, enhanced by a fine and persistent perlage. It introduces its aroma with delicacy and elegance: it initially opens with fruity notes of currants, raspberries, and a citrus hint of grapefruit, only to reveal soft traces of vanilla and almond. All of this is tied together by a classy mineral vein, which is reaffirmed on the palate. The entry in the mouth is straight and precise, gradually revealing the juicy and rich character, disclosing that fruity imprint perceived by the nose. Sapidity and softness coexist in great balance. The finesse of the quintessential French bubble and the personality of a grape variety famous worldwide come together in this Rosé, which proves to be surprising especially in the Magnum format, synonymous with prestige and elegance.
