The "Solessence" Champagne comes from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir from 7 different villages in the Vallée de la Marne and Cote des Blancs. The nose recalls hints of citrus peel, fragrant notes of bread crust, hints of dried fruit and enveloping sapid and mineral notes. On the palate it is creamy, taut and very balanced, with vibrant freshness and a persistent bubble

The Champagne Extra Brut 'Solessence' by J-M Seleque is a classic cuvée made from a base of Chardonnay and Meunier to which a small percentage of Pinot Noir is added. It is a Champagne that comes from a selection of grapes from old vines cultivated in the territories of seven different villages, located in the areas of the Vallée de la Marne and the Cote de Blancs. The aging on the lees and the use of a high percentage of reserve wines at the time of blending give the Champagne a mature and complex character of great persistence and charm.

The Extra Brut 'Solessence' is a handcrafted Champagne of classic style. The Maison J-M Seleque is located in Pierry, a Premier Cru village in the Vallée de la Marne in the area of the Coteaux Sud d'Epernay. The family has been involved in viticulture for three generations, and since 2008, Jean-Marc Sélèque has been at the helm of the company, contributing to the growing fame of the Maison's labels, thanks to particular care in the management of the vineyards and the work in the cellar. The The estate covers a total of 9 hectares of vineyard, divided into 45 parcels distributed across 7 different villages. The vines have an average age of about 40 years and are planted in particularly suited clay-limestone soils. In the countryside, natural preparations are used to make the vines stronger and more resistant, and grassing between the rows is practiced. The high quality of the grapes and a harvest at full ripeness allow for the production of intense, fresh, and mineral Champagne.

The Cuvée Solessence by Seleque is an Extra Brut Champagne produced with grapes from vines cultivated in the territories of: Pierry, Moussy, Epernay, Mardeuil, Dizy, Boursault, and Vertus. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 80% and in oak barrels for the remaining 20%. The cuvée is made with a blend of vintage wines to which 50% of reserve wines are added, matured partly in steel and partly in wood. The secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a stay on the lees of at least 18 months. In the glass, it presents a light yellow color, bright and shining, crossed by a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is rich and intense, with notes of citrus peel, ripe fruit, hints of bread crust, and dried fruit. On the palate, it has a good structure, an expressive sip, and good aromatic complexity, supported by overwhelming freshness and a pleasant and typical mineral note.
