Cantina Sannas' Cannonau di Sardegna 'Bobotti' pays homage to Sardinian tradition and is named after the local black man. The Cannonau vines are between 25 and 100 years old, a real treasure among the hills of Mamoiada. Vinification is totally artisanal, with partial foot-pressing and manual punching-down every four hours. The nose releases dark aromas of wild blackberry and liquorice, with nuances of Mediterranean scrub. The palate is structured but fresh, with silky tannins and all-Mediterranean savouriness.
