The Lecompte Calvados Pays d'Auge is a distillate that comes from the processing of apples, grown in the orchards that immerse themselves in the heart of the Pays d'Auge. Here we find the best apples in the entire region, carefully chosen and selected by Lecompte. After pressing, a sweet-flavored cider is obtained, distilled using two 25-hectoliter stills under the watchful eye of master distiller Richard Prével. At the end of the highly artisanal processing, the Calvados is transferred into small oak barrels and then into larger barrels, aged for a period of 5-6 years.
