The Arbis Blanc is a white wine with a rich and intense aromatic range, obtained from the main white grape varieties cultivated in Friuli and aged for 12 months in large barrels. On the nose, it emits aromas of wildflowers, honey, and aromatic herbs. The palate is rich in structure and concentration, with soft and buttery notes.

Borgo San Daniele Arbis Blanc represents a fine expression of Friuli, born from a blend of different grape varieties closely tied to the winemaking tradition of the region. The term “arbis”, the name of the label, comes from the ancient Friulian dialect and translates to “herbs”, referring to the fact that the vineyards from which the grapes are sourced are left to grow with spontaneous herbs, periodically mowed. The technique of grassing promotes biodiversity and at the same time creates healthy competition between the grass cover and the vineyard, which controls the vigor of the vine, promoting the perfect ripening of the grapes.

The Arbis Blanc from Borgo San Daniele is made from a blend of Friulano, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc, in varying proportions depending on the vintage. The vineyards are located in the San Leonardo area in the municipality of Cormons and are managed under certified organic and biodynamic practices.
