The Anjou Blanc “Les Petit Gars” from Domaine des Hardieres is a Chenin Blanc from Anjou, the western Loire region. A variety known for its freshness, it meets barrique for about 8 months to create this expression that On the nose, yellow fruit is perceived along with typical mineral hints and slight notes of vanilla on the finish. On the palate it is truly fresh, balanced by the roundness and softness given by aging in wood

The Anjou Blanc “Les Petit Gars” from Domaine des Hardières is produced in the Loire region, an area nourished by the waters of the Layon. The winery was established in 2012, managed by the Hardières family, and spans about 23 hectares entirely planted with vines: the excellence of the terroir has allowed for a continuous pursuit of quality and excellence over time, in order to create unique products. In addition to focusing on the production of typical white wines from the area, it has also invested in red grape varieties, becoming a pioneer in the region.

The vineyards of the Anjou Blanc “Les Petit Gars” from Domaine des Hardières are entirely positioned on slopes, characterized by a schistous soil that readily absorbs water, making it lush and ensuring the vine full hydration. The climate is characterized by morning mists and sunny afternoons in winter, while in summer the sun consistently illuminates the vineyards; significant daily temperature fluctuations between day and night are important for perfectly ripening grapes. The chosen cultivation regime

is organic and the clusters are hand-harvested. In the winery, alcoholic fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in wood; it ages for 8 months in barrique.

The color of the Anjou Blanc “Les Petit Gars” from Domaine des Hardières is an intense straw yellow with brilliant reflections. On the nose, it releases aromas of apricots, quince and vanilla with mineral notes on the finish; on the palate, it is enveloping, mineral, and fresh, with significant persistence for interesting sips. It pairs excellently with dishes based on shellfish and mollusks, but sushi and sashimi also match perfectly; it is also interesting with aged cheeses. A product with genuine and authentic flavors, the result of a respectful approach to nature and its fruits.
